Limited Lifetime Warranty

Every kataoka piece is covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty for the original owner. This warranty covers repair or replacement of any structural defect in materials or craftsmanship that occurs under normal wear. It applies to all jewelry purchased directly from kataoka or through one of our authorized retail partners, provided the piece remains in its original, unaltered condition.

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, impact, improper handling, exposure to chemicals or water, unauthorized repairs or modifications, normal surface wear over time, loss, or theft. Prong or setting failure caused by a manufacturing defect is covered; stone loss resulting from impact or neglect is not. Pieces that have been serviced by anyone other than kataoka are no longer eligible.

Orders placed directly through kataoka include one complimentary resizing within the first year of purchase. After the first year, resizing is available for $300 per service (as of 2026). For pieces purchased through an authorized retail partner, resizing is $300 per service from the date of purchase.
